Shana Mixed Vegetables is full of a delicious variety of vegetables including: Green Peas, Carrots, Cauliflower, French Beans and Chopped Potato in one convenient pack. Shana Mixed Vegetables may be used immediately from frozen, making them a tidy and convenient way of enjoying the vegetables at their best.
Our vegetables are frozen close to the time of harvest to ensure they retain a higher level of vitamins and nutrients. Absolutely no water is added during the IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) process, providing you with nature's best.
- Preheat the oven to 170C/235F / Gas 3.
- Boil Shana Mixed Vegetables for 5-6 minutes. Drain and return vegetables to the pan.
- Add tomato purée, green chillies, garam masala, and turmeric to the vegetables and mix well.
- Place half of the rice at the bottom of an ovenproof dish, spread the vegetable mixture on top, and then place the rest of the rice on top evenly.
- Sprinkle the top layer of the rice with chopped onions, cumin seeds, and red chilli powder. Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 15 minutes.
